Dance with Mr. Darcy is a free browser based rhythm game inspired by the ballroom scenes of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Darcy asks for your hand for one of four real English country dance tunes, Grimstock, Mr. Beveridge's Maggot, Shrewsbury Lasses, or The Tythe Pig, and you hit the glowing arrow in time with the music, using your arrow keys or by tapping on screen. An optional Hard Mode picks up the tempo for double points. Build a streak of consecutive correct steps to earn a growing score multiplier, and see your final accuracy translated into an Austen-flavored verdict on your dancing, from "Accomplished" down to "You Danced Like Mr. Collins." No sign up or download is required, and the game is playable directly in the browser.
