Yardley is the sort of unassuming Bucks County borough one might drive through without stopping, which would be a genuine mistake. Vault, a restaurant housed in a converted bank building, serves food considerably more inventive than its sleepy Main Street suggests. It has become one of my favorite hidden-gem restaurants near Philadelphia.
